Representative Projects                 


Herndon Commerce Center:  Located in downtown Herndon, Virginia on Elden Street, this future building will provide 30,000 square feet of office and retail space to the downtown area.  The building is currently in review with the Building Department.  Hopefully, construction will begin by the end of the year.  (Architect: Beese-Quast Designs)
Oxford Corner:  This building is also located in Downtown Herndon approximately across the street from the future Herndon Commerce Center.  It offers 10,000 square feet of commercial, business and retail space. (Architect: Architectural Designs)

Chantilly Professional Building, Phase II:  This commercial office building is located in Chantilly, Virginia at the intersection of Centreville Road and Route 50. The building is 30,000 square feet and is comprised of a steel frame.  A unique feature of this building is the cantilevered corner element framed by cantilevered concrete and steel beams. (Architect: Rounds VanDuzer Architects)


The Westfields Boyd School:  This building is located in the Westfields area of Chantilly, Vriginia.  A challenging aspect of this project was the extremely steep grading at the rear of the building.  Only a one story building at street level, it is approximately three stories at the back of the building. Goughnour Engineering, PC also consulted on it's sister school in Broadlands, Virginia. (Architect: Arencibia Architects)
Sterling Oaks:  This building is located in Sterling, Virginia, just a few blocks off of Route 28.  The building is a combination of office and warehouse space. (Architect: Arencibia Architects)
144 Church Street;  13,100 square feet of retail and office space in downtown Vienna.  The building exhibits three different facades.  This project won the AGC 2001 Washington Contractor's New Construction Merit Award.  (Architect: Morgan Gick & Associates)
  Old Dominion Animal Hospital:  This animal medical facility, located in McLean, Virginia is 20,000 square feet.  The structure is comprised of a steel frame.
  Park Place Condominium:  Provided an engineering evaluation of the condition of the three hundred eighty concrete balconies, including details and specifications for repairs and construction observations.
  Boys Town, USA:  Project involved a detailed structural survey of two buildings, identifying structural members that required repair or modification to fit a new use and the design of those repairs.
